I love the idea of forwarding gifts when you "feel complete with them" as Sahara said, or when someone else needs them more than you. For years some of my girlfriends from college passed around a little ceramic cat figurine that a boyfriend had given me. We thought it was the most hilarious little statue and lived quite far apart, so whenever one of us girls was sad we'd mail the little cat to each other. It never ceased to cheer me when it came into my possession and was a great reminder that my far away friends are always with me in spirit.
