I had such a fantastic time! So first, I will admit that I knew who Secret Agent L was prior to the reveal because I had been following her personal blog for a while and was able to put two and two together. :) So we met up on Friday evening for cocktails. And that's where she introduced me to Jennie.
On Saturday I had plans to wreak havoc on Pittsburgh with Devon, however Devon is a self-proclaimed city-avoider. (Though I do know she can throw an amazing suburban BBQ. Haha!) So the two of us, along with my husband Rob, wandered the streets of Pittsburgh with no real plan aside from sweating our butts off. That's when Jennie and her boyfriend Rob rescued us with their air conditioned car!
Jennie and Rob sacrificed their Saturday to chauffeur around three strangers, showing off some super neato spots of the city that we most certainly never would have stumbled across on our own! While having a bite to eat after the wonderful Secret Agent L reveal party, and even after enduring hours of booger stories from my husband (don't ask!), Jennie and Rob offered to pick us up at our hotel the next morning to take us to brunch! It was insanely delicious, as they described, and they even drove us to Mt. Washington for a breath-taking view of the city afterward.
Rob and I are so grateful to have met these two super NICE and generous individuals, who also happened to be really kick ass people! We only hope we can return the favor one day!
