NICE Stuff: A Beautiful Idea

I'm not quite sure how I stumbled upon the website A Beautiful Idea. Maybe someone sent it to me via Twitter or I saw it on another blog, but it's title rings true. Started by Evie Shaffer, the site aims to "motivate artists to use their gifts to change the world."

As it states on the site, "Imagine if just 1% of Etsy.com's 200,000 sellers donated the profits of one $20 item a month. That's $40,000 a month."



A Beautiful Idea partners with some fabulous artists who are selling the loveliest items in their etsy shops. You can help by shopping (my favorite kind of helping!) in their stores. I love when my shopping addiction can support a charity at the same time. :)
