Guess what. This Thursday is Operation NICE's TWO YEAR BLOGIVERSARY!!! Holy cow. Two years? Can you believe it?! I am so glad that you all still come by and visit, even after a hiatus or two. And I'm grateful that you contribute and send me emails and stories to post which really keeps this blog alive.
Last year on my blogiversary, with the help of Gloria and Eileen, I passed out carnations to unsuspecting Philadelphians.
This year, I would love it if YOU would help me participate in celebrating Operation NICE!
Today's Assignment: Help Me Celebrate!
It's been a while since I've done a NICE Note drop. I was thinking it'd be really fun if we all dropped NICE Notes in our home towns. A NICEsplosion! Then if you would be kind enough to take a photo of your NICE Note and email it to me, I could post them all on Thursday, July 15th, the two year blogiversary of Operation NICE! Wouldn't it be awesome if there were tons of photos to share???
CLICK HERE to download the PDF of the NICE Notes, print, cut, add your own special message, and leave the sweet surprise for someone to find. Examples: leave it with your tip at a restaurant; put it in a napkin holder at a coffee shop; tape it to a bathroom mirror; leave one in your mailbox for your postman; mail one to a friend; attach it to a snack/treat and give it to a coworker; hand it to a toll booth collector; hide it on a grocery store shelf; put it inside a book at a bookstore; stick it under a car windshield wiper; tape it to a street lamp
Even if you've never done a NICE Assignment before, I would love it if you would participate in this one. It would show me that the message behind Operation NICE is being spread all over the world by you all, the NICE Ambassadors!
And I will even throw in an extra incentive to participate. For every person that emails me a photo of their NICE Note, I will donate $1 (up to $100, maybe more) to The Hunger Project, "a global, non-profit, strategic organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger."
