I have been a Señorita Cranky Pants lately. I'd like to blame a mild case of Seasonal Affective Disorder. This weather stinks! Snowstorm after snowstorm, and unlike my fortunate husband who has had like 80 snow days off from school, I still have to brave the icy conditions or work from home. (And "work" and "home" are not two things I like to mix together!) I spend my weekends wanting to stay in my warm house, wrapped up in a Slanket™, so I rarely accomplish anything.
I am so ready for spring!!!
So I thought that my grumpy self could use a love list. And since it's the first of March, why not list all of the things I love about this month.Today's Assignment: Write a March Love List
So here are a few things I love about this month:
It's Women's History Month • My grandfather's birthday is the 5th • The sun is staying out a little later in the day • Being able to go outside without my giant down coat • Wearing green on St. Patrick's Day (I am half Irish afterall) • Hearing birds chirping for the first time in what feels like forever • Waiting for daffodils to bloom • Daydreaming about tank tops • Napping to the sound of March winds • March Madness bracket pools, even though I stink • The end of my husband's basketball season at school, so I can finally start seeing him again • Perfect scarf weather (I am a scarf addict) • A weekend trip to NYC is in the works • First day of Spring!

One of the best things is that I just found your blog and I adore it and I love March because Daylight Savinsa time is a'comin and whoo hoo more day light to play and time to think about breaking up the garden and my hubby's birthday and also my son in laws. And what the heck it may start warming up and me too thinking of flippers and tanks and beginning to think about being able to fill up the pool in a couple of months! Love March!
Oh duh!! Daylight Savings, I totally forgot. Yes, definitely one of my favorite things about March. I don't even mind losing an hour of sleep. :)
Love the idea of a March Love List! What I definitely love most is daylight savings and the potential for some warm days. Can't wait for summer!! :)

• Multiple trips with my man planned (including a weekend stay in a haunted hotel and massive amounts of rock n' roll at SXSW)
• Continuing my cont. ed. classes.
• My mother-in-laws bday...she rocks!
• Blooming flowers
• More time on the Porch!
*Volunteering at theatres in Philly (starts this month)
*Drinking on St. Patty's Day.
*Not going to work and coming home from work in the dark.

My oldest son's birthday is in March and I always look forward to celebrating with him (Happy Birthday Codie!)
I love reminiscing about that St Patrick's day my best friend and I spent in Boston. I love that it'll be the first day of Spring soon! I love, love, love that it is the start of vernal pool season and I will get paid to go wading through wetlands looking for frogs and frog eggs! (That last one is my favorite)
Seeing the first crocus peak above the snow!
ohhh! I love March too! I love that it's my wedding anniversary! And that, last March, I had a brand new baby to enjoy! And I love that all the Spring clothes come out! And I love that I get to go to Las Vegas for a big photographers' convention (read: geek fest). Actually, come to think of it.... March is my favorite month!
I agree, I am so ready for SPRING.... yayayay, sun sun, come out and play with me... March, however is the Month that My best Friend passed away, however it was also her birth month. I celebrate the wonderful woman that she was and look forward to seeing her again in heaven some day... :) Love your blog... :) NICE!!! let it spread... Peace,,, Deb

What we LOVE about March is that for those of us who are blessed to live in the south, flowers are beginning to bloom here and there, but not yet everywhere...making it a super fun treat when we see some pop out that weren't there yesterday!
I love the calendar! Switching it over on the first of the month is always a delight! :)

March is officially the beginning of spring... and the snow is melting already in the northeast! what's not to love about that? I love putting my winter coats away and breaking out lightweight spring jackets :)
