NICE Stuff: Heidi Burton Prints

I saw this print on Mixed Plate yesterday and I knew I had to share. It's by illustrator Heidi Burton, and it's just the kind of encouragement I love!

I also adore this one from Heidi's etsy shop. She writes, "I strongly believe that small random acts of kindness make the world go round; Yes I'm a bit of a hippy when it comes to philosophising about human nature! :P " I'd have to agree with her on that one!

Check out the other gorgeous illustrations in Heidi Burton's etsy shop and click here to take a peek at her blog.

Hi, Melissa! I think we are on the same wavelength this morning! I subscribe to a very neat newsletter from Encouragement Wired and today's note was on being more encouraging. Similar to your message today! The link is on my 'Are You Positive Site' and is my second positive entry for the year. I sure admire how you keep up the entries. In addition they are elegant and smart! Thank-you!

Yes, it really is good to acknowledge people and make them feel good. It helps to make the world a nicer place. x

Hi.
I just randomly found this blog today.
I think it's sweet, especially cause I just had a discussion with my friend about whether people are inherently good or bad (I believe in the good in people).
The vice principal at my old high school used to say that "random acts of kindness" aren't necessarily what we should be shooting for. He believed that we should be going for INTENTIONAL acts of kindness. I really like this idea.
I do like random acts too though cause they can be cute and surprising =)
