I did my assignment!

On my way into work, I stopped at the grocery store to buy treats for the day. Then I sat in my car in the parking garage putting together little goodie bags for my friends at Starbucks, who provide me with liquid sunshine every weekday morning. And I also made three bags for my fantastic coworkers, who I couldn't be more grateful for.

Treats!

For some bizarre reason, I'm always nervous doing things like this. Hey, if someone handed me a bag of candy, they'd be my new best friend. But I don't know, my social anxiety kicks in and I honestly almost chickened out. But when I was at the register, I pulled out the bags and just went for it. After I left Starbucks, I had the biggest smile on my face! I should really do that kind of thing more often!

Go you! It's sad but true that it's easy to "chicken out" of performing kindness, isn't it? So glad you didn't! :)

Me too! I don't know what my issue is. I guess I'm worried people will think I'm weird or something. I mean, I AM weird, but in a good way! :)

What a very nice gesture. I did something similar like this. I had made some Halloween cards and after leaving a restaurent on Halloween day I left a halloween card with some Halloween Humor inside and a big thank-you for the service. It was a cute card if I do say so myself. I wish I had done more of them. I think I'm going to make some seasonal cards with humor inside to leave for people I'm grateful for when visiting or doing business with them. For November....hey Thanksgiving...an Thanksgiving humor or poems on the inside are good. I have some very cool fall photos I can use....thanks for the inspiration! I'll have to blog on this soon....
