Okay, how exactly does one get discovered by a bajillion dollar company and get the offer to travel around the country (or world) just being nice? Because I think that sounds like a good plan for me. :) Yoohoo! Canon! Sony! Pepperidge Farm! I'm right here! And I don't even need a big RV with my face on the side. I'll take a Prius.
Enough of the selfish talk. The story is really sweet! Brett and Cameron started this project with the nicest intentions. After noticing how the students on their campus kept their heads down when they walked, they decided they wanted to give them a reason to look up. Good for them!
And hey guys, if you decide you need an older, half-Asian sidekick, give me a call!

how sweet!
My favorite of their compliments? "Ma'am, you're radiating today." I would love it if someone said that to me. It's funny and complimentary at the same time.
Purdue is in Indiana, where I live now, and these guys are currently in Philly, where I grew up. Yeah, that's right. It's a small world...made even smaller when the radius is ME. :-) Oh, and I spent most of my college learning time in a chemistry building. Trifecta!
All self-centeredness aside, this is awesome. I love hearing about this stuff!
yhey make me want to dance my very best "Elaine" impersonation happy dance ... oh, and to be sponsored to go out into the world simply to spread nice, well, that sounds like HEAVEN!
Just wanted to let you know your Nice Campaign has arrived in New Zealand and featured on the front page of one of the sections of the Wellington paper The Dominion Post. Email me if you want me to mail you the paper, I bought you a copy just in case. NICE goes global eh!
Congratulations.
It's so cool to see a couple of guys wanting to make a positive difference. It seems they had a few people who found the niceness a bit weird like you did when you handed out the flowers. Just goes to show there needs to be more of it. Good on them!
I was having a really crappy day yesterday (Wednesday). I was standing at the bus stop headphones in, head down, when a guy came up to me, tapped me on the shoulder and said: "I just wanted to brighten up your day and tell you that you look really pretty today". It was the sweetest thing ever and totally cheered me up!
I am ashamed to say that I was annoyed when he first came up to me, thinking he wanted money or cigarettes. I think I'll smile t strangers more!
