NICE Assignment: Play Easter Bunny

Remember how exciting it was to wake up on Easter Sunday and search for a basket full of sugary, teeth-rotting, hyperactivity-inducing goodies? Back when our innocence had us believe in a giant (yet not terrifying) rabbit, distributing Cadbury Creme Eggs? Sometimes I miss those days. And while other similar traditions (cough, cough, Christmas) still carry on into adulthood, it seems like the Easter Bunny has forgotten about us grown ups.

Today's Assignment: Play Easter Bunny

You can't walk into a grocery or drug store without coming across a display of Peeps, Cadbury something-or-other, or my favorite, Reese's Eggs. Why don't you grab a few and play anonymous Easter Bunny to some people in your life? Leave a treat on your coworker's desk. Put a bag of candy in your neighbor's mailbox. Or even your own mailbox for your postal worker!

And to make this task a little more fun, I whipped up some little Easter note cards that you can leave with your gift. Don't forget to sign it, "Love the Easter Bunny!"

Click here to download a pdf of the cards.

I think this could be a really fun assignment. I'd love to hear who you'd like to play anonymous Easter Bunny for!

Oh, good idea about playing Easter Bunny to the mail carrier. We like to treat him around the end of the year, but it didn't occur to me to leave him something sweet in our mailbox. Good idea!

This is a great idea thanks!

I "bunnied" my coworkers in my department plus a few in other departments this morning.

Made all of them smile! (Who wouldn't want to start their day with an easter egg?)

Did I tell you I love you? And your site? I want to go stamp "OPERATIONNICE.COM" on everyones forhead! I am so doing a happy dance and I am so going to blog about you and a particular story (one of many) which have involved me and random acts...

I love the idea of making an Easter treat for the mailman. Ours is really sweet, too.

The kids and I were going to fill extra Easter eggs and go plant ourselves on a bench, on the local walking trail...then, pass them out to random people as they walk by. However, it's been raining all week! : (

I was the Easter Bunny this week at work, dropping homemade Blackberry Truffles on everyone's desk. Some people think I am crazy but not only to I enjoy creating them, I enjoy watching people get a little decadence in their daily life. We should all do more things like this don't ya think?
