NICE News: A Shot in the Dark

I received an email the other day from fellow Philadelphian Melissa S. with a link to a news story about two of her cousins. She closed her email with, "I'll warn you, it may make you cry." She obviously knows me well because I was emotional by the time I got halfway through.

"How Drexel Hill’s Matt Steven got to the foul line with 10 seconds to go and his CYO basketball team down a single point is an interesting story."

My husband, Rob, always teases me when I get emotional at sports stories. One time we were watching a baseball game when a pitcher was knocked down by a pitch. He was on the ground for a good five minutes when they had to eventually carry him off the field on a stretcher. The entire stadium stood and cheered for him and I couldn't help but cry! Sometimes sports isn't all about machismo. :)
