I was so excited when Alexis contacted me about doing a giveaway! It has been a little while since I've held one here, and it's always one of my favorite things to do. So thanks to her generosity, you now have an opportunity to win this original haiku teacup!
The haiku reads:
listen to the sound
of the teapot as it sings
water leaps inside
Can't you just picture yourself sitting in your kitchen wearing a robe, reading the newspaper, and sipping a delicious tea from this cup??
You're probably wondering how to win. Well, hopefully my request is obvious, but I want you to write a haiku of your own! It can be about kindness. It can be about love. It can be about how you want to win this teacup! Just leave it in the comments right here by next Thursday, February 26 at 8pm EST and a random comment will be drawn to receive this delight!
As always, I wouldn't make you do something I wouldn't do, so here's my haiku:

Brings me happiness and joy

Warmth in my belly
