NICE Giveaway: Jitterbug Stationery

Thursday is giveaway day! Woot woot! (This week is flying by, isn't it?)

The other day, I heard from nice girl Carey of Lasso'd Moon Designs and Jitterbug Stationery. She let me know that she had designed a new card that, really, couldn't be nicer! On the front of the card is the word "nice" in a bunch of different languages, along with the phrase "nice, no matter how you say it." And she offered a pack of them up as a giveaway for you!

Super cute, right?! The winner will receive a set of 10 cards and envelopes packaged in a clear acrylic box. Perfect for sending to all those nice people you know. Ehem, like me. I love mail. :)

I'm going to be selfish and use this giveaway to elicit some market research. To enter the contest, all you have to do is leave a comment here by December 11th at 8pm EST, answering the question, "What do you like best about Operation NICE?" I want to know what you'd like to see more of. Do you come by because you love the giveaways? Would you like to see more Testimonials? Or read more NICE News? Or see more NICE Stuff so you can be bad like me and shop? Do you want more downloads and freebies? What can I do to make Operation NICE better?

Easy, right? So go ahead, send me your suggestions and constructive criticism! And thanks in advance!

Good luck!!

Oooh. My favorite thing about ON, are the Nice Assignments! Blogging daily (or OK, almost daily) can be tough sometimes, so your assignments give me lots of ideas and keep me writing. I also love to visit the many blogs of other ON readers and read their take on the assignments. You've built up a really *nice* internet community, through your site Melissa. Thank you!

Fabulous cards!

Even though it's work for us, I like the assignments the best! It really helps me to focus on nice as it relates to me and how I live my life - every time I do one I have more valuable insight into myself. (OK, and I like the nice stuff too...)

I love the assignments as well. For a suggestion of something to see more of. It would be neat to see more pictures of people placing nice cards around their town. ☺

I like when you describe nice things that people have done that you've heard about. I don't always have time to follow links to read in depth accounts of niceness on other sites, but when you provide the story, it always inspires me to keep at it. Just clicking on your blog reminds me to make an effort, every day, to be nice. I love your blog!

I probably like the assignments best, too.

But really, I don't know that I'd change a thing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, you know? And honey - it ain't broke!

i love the assignments...
but the downloads are so much fun!!
i love printing them out and leaving them in random places for strangers to find..

Honestly, like others have said, you're doing a great job overall. Just coming here helps remind me to be a nicer person (had a pretty rough year with my Dad dying unexpectedly and have been feeling mad at the world for most of it). I swear, if we lived near each other, we'd prolly be friends. Shopaholics! :-P

Can I say "all of the above"? When i first came to your blog it was the testimonials that kept me coming back, but really I do love it all.

I wrote a good comment and then it disappeared into the black hole of the internet...

But, essentially, Op Nice reminds me that other people are trying to make a difference too, and my attempts aren't futile. It's the boost I need to keep trying to make myself a better person.

My fave thing about this website...

I like all of the ideas on here which I can DO. Like practical things to do for others. Sometimes the Nice News has some good ideas, other times the Nice Assignments are cool. Anything inspiring I can do myself, preferably for others. And ofcourse I love the giveways. Im not gonna lie :p

I like the fact that you solicit comments about your site and work that into your site. You have a lovely site and I like to see all the things you do to it.

I need some "niceness" now and then, and your way of writing, the positive sense, funny twittering and assignments keeps my eyes open for everyday-niceness.

isn't it good to know that ON reached Europe, as I write this from Holland?

Keep up the good work

I added your blog to my Google Reader purely to have something uplifting to read! I read a lot of news and this is the perfect antidote to that habit. :-)

I like the upliftment!! I will be blogging about you this week actually. I love your hair -- which is totally off topic. And I love stationary, which you seem to as well.
My faves are the giveaways and the good news.

Just a beautiful thing going on over here. I wouldn't wish for you to change a thing! I blogged about it today.

You asked, "What do you like best about Operation NICE?"

I love love love the testimonials. They serve two functions for me: 1) as a reminder that there is good out in the world despite being barraged by bad news, and 2) as inspiration to be nicer each day.

I have been following you for quite awhile but I have to say it is hard to choose a "best" but I do like the video winner announcements. It would be nice to be picked.

love the homework assignments, very inspirtational and perfect for when I'm feeling sorry for myself. ;o) Melissa, you are very creative, a good person and you inspire others to kind. That's reason enough for me to read every day.

I also think you're doing a fabulous job with the site overall. My favorite part definitely is the testimonials. It would be awesome for you to do a blog challenge where you had a network of bloggers agree to write a nice post on their own blogs once a day for a set amount of time, etc. Just an idea!

Tracy said...

I love reading everyone's testimonials plus the homework is inspiring!!

I think O.N. is perfect the way it is! Seriously, I think you create a nice balance of giveaways, shopping tips, and my favs, the "nice" stories.

Emerald Arts said...

My whole life my best friend and I have argued (and we've been friends since we were two) about the word nice. I say it's an excellent word that should be used for anything nice, he says it should only ever be used about food.

Thanks for showing him he's wrong :P

Cherrill said...

I'm going to have to be bad and say the NICE Stuff shopping gets me every time. I do love reading the testimonials, but I'm a sucker for a good online purchase.

Shannon Nora said...

What do I like BEST? How to choose? I love everything about this blog, but if I had to narrow it down I love the nice assignments and the testimonials of random acts of kindness from strangers. I love the idea that I can brighten someone's day. Thanks for all you do Melissa!

Ashley said...

The testimonials are a nice way to start a day. When I'm groggy and dreading another day at the office, this site helps boost my mood. Although I haven't done many of the nice assignments, they're a favorite as well. It's always nice to have a reminder to be nice.

The NICE Giveaways are always fantastic, of course, but I also really enjoy the downloads, daily NICE Assignments, and the info on nice products!

I just discovered this site and I do like the giveaways. But mostly I'll follow this blog because hearing about other people being nice just makes ME want to be nice as often as possible!

I love that there are others who care about being nice. Sometimes it feels like being nice is a rarity...I appreciate this site for showing how it doesn't have to be.

What a nice contest!

Operation Nice reminds me that I am not the only one seeking to "do unto others" in my day-to-day routine.

So often I encounter people who have forgotten the concept of common courtesy, and I love having one solid place to come to where it's never in question.

Have a nice day! :)
