NICE Giveaway #3: And the winner is!

I wanted to do a video post, but time constraints didn't allow for that to happen. I'm sure you didn't want to wait a few more days, so I did the next best thing. Random Integer Generator!

There were quite a few comments this time. I noticed that my giveaway was posted on a sweepstakes-type site, so a good number of people just stopped by to enter the drawing, but I hope that a few stuck around to learn a little more about the project. There were some who didn't leave a comment regarding how NICE affected their life like I had requested (I even got one embarrassing anecdote), but I left them in the drawing anyway. I don't want to be too nitpicky! Although I did delete the comment from the person that copied and pasted the first few sentences of a previous entry. Hmm. Anyway, after removing the deleted comments and a few duplicates, there was a total of 92 entries!

So, I let the Random Integer Generator go to work and (drum roll please!) the winner is comment number 13!

And that comment belongs to Teal Marie Chimblo, the owner of Blissful Body Yoga. She also maintains the Daily Gratitude Blog, all about, you guessed it, expressing gratitude! Here's her story:

A couple weeks ago we had some MAJOR heavy rains here in Gastonia. My fiancé and I were running out to our car, and we saw this young boy with an umbrella, sitting half in, half out of a car door, obviously holding up a towel to a linking sun roof inside. We were like, "Oh, man that is going to be a drag, and not really work." We ran and got our big blue tarp and helped the boy throw it over the car and anchor it. He was SO grateful, and went inside. We thought nothing more of it, went on to do our shopping, and of course the tarp came back to us a couple days later when the rain stopped. A few days after that, we opened our front door to find a little card with a flower on the front. In side was a very heartfelt thank you from the young boy and his mom for helping them, and preventing their car from getting ruined. It SO MADE OUR DAY! It was just sweet, and nice, and just so lovely. It was in the young boy's handwriting, which made even more special. I put it on the fridge and it makes me happy every time I look at it.

It's always the little things, isn't it?

Congratulations, Teal! I'm so happy for you! Send me your info and what size you'd like and I'll forward that over to the very generous Tina over at String-Ring™.

Thanks to everyone for entering! If you haven't read through the comments recently, I recommend you check them out. They'll brighten your day! And don't worry, there will be another giveaway very soon, so be sure to check back often. Happy Friday!
