Of course, as most nice ideas do, it spread to others who also wanted to participate in such an event. On The Toy Society blog, you can see details about each toy drop as well as messages from the finders.
I think it's a remarkable idea! Don't you? I have some little felt monsters that I made a few years ago and are just sitting collecting dust. They might be perfect for a Philadelphia toy drop! In fact, I have so much felt stored away, maybe I could make new little Operation NICE monsters with big smiles and "I'M VERY NICE" stitched to their bodies. Hmm, looks like I found a weekend project!

Hi, I'm Melissa! Welcome to my blog! I believe that kindness can change the world, so it's my mission to spread the concept of being nice, as simple as that may sound. I hope you'll have a look around!
Do you have a NICE story you'd like to share? Maybe one you've stumbled upon or something that has affected you personally? If so,

Here's a list of NICE folks who have mentioned Operation NICE on their site or supported us by using our badge. Thank you so much!

This is great! I think you should do it too! I would like to do the same thing around my area, but I haven't found what designs I can create. Love the idea!

Oooh. I'm going to do this. And when I do I'm going add this site address to the card... in hopes they'll come here and I'll get to know who got it!!
Would that be okay with you? I don't want credit - I mostly want to be nosy (and know that it didn't end up in the trash)
