Over the weekend, I received a comment on the Love List post from Tabitha D of A FiveOh4 Uplifting. First of all, please visit this site! Tabitha and her family have a mission of "spreading smiles worldwide" by creating gift bags and goody boxes for those that need a bit of uplifting. Amazing!
And not only that, but one of her love list items inspired the NICE Assignment for the day. She wrote, "I love writing gratitude notes." Gratitude notes, what a great idea! I had already planned to give an assignment involving snail mail, and now there's some focus.
Today's Assignment: Send a Gratitude Note
Think of someone for whom you're grateful. Your parent. Your spouse. Your neighbor. Your barista. I'm sure you know plenty of folks that could use a "thank you". [FREE DOWNLOAD ALERT!] And just to make things a bit easier, I created two printable note cards for your downloading pleasure, both featuring a quote on the concept of gratitude.
You can download the pdfs here and here. Slip them into an A2 envelope and get those babies in the mail! After all, studies show that gratitude is good for your health. And hey, it's a lot easier than exercising!
