And I have a question for you folks out there. I was trying to limit this blog to one post a day for a few reasons. One being my day job, which cuts into the time I'd love to spend on this blog. Darn mortgage! And another reason was to spread out my material. I wasn't sure if I'd have enough to post about each day. However, it turns out that I have plenty to say! And thanks to all of you, who send me wonderful stories and links, I could easily post more often.
My point is coming, I promise. I know that as a blog reader, I have trouble keeping up with some blogs that tend to post a lot. I don't want to become overwhelming, particularly if I post articles and lengthy items like testimonials. So I want to hear from you! Would you prefer one post a day? Would two or three be okay occasionally? Or would you be more likely to skip over some if they came more frequently? Would you like to see pictures of other people's NICE Notes that are posted in the flickr group, or do you want to check the group on your own? Let me know your thoughts!
Another thing. I know I said in my video that there would be a new giveaway to look forward to today, but I'm going to hold off until next Tuesday. I haven't even sent off Maria's prize yet! :-) Hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Hi, I'm Melissa! Welcome to my blog! I believe that kindness can change the world, so it's my mission to spread the concept of being nice, as simple as that may sound. I hope you'll have a look around!
Do you have a NICE story you'd like to share? Maybe one you've stumbled upon or something that has affected you personally? If so,

Here's a list of NICE folks who have mentioned Operation NICE on their site or supported us by using our badge. Thank you so much!

I'm ok with more than one post a day. I think I'd rather go to Flickr to see other people's pictures, unless they are really special.
I've been sick for the past few days, so I haven't been able to put notes out anywhere--I send a photo when I do.
Hey Mel,
I'm also fine with more than one post per day. Especially if there are lots of pictures.
That said, I'd actually rather see pictures on your blog than on flickr. It's an extra step for me to head over there...
Cheers,
Catherine
The more the merrier!
I honestly think that depends what your personal goals are for the ON blog, unless you're letting it shape itself and hanging on for the ride. I could really see this exploding if you're more prolific with posts, and would that be okay with the rest of your life? Ha, I answered your question with a question!
In the end, can you ever have too much nice?
I have a fits and starts kind of relationship with Google Reader. Sometimes I'm steady and on top of my reading, but often I read in clumps. So, clump away! I might not even notice.
daisy janie - boy oh boy, you are really making me think! When I started this blog, I had no idea that I'd actually have people who wanted to read it. I nearly cry when I look at the long list of NICE Sites that I have now!
And the more I get into it, the more it engulfs me. Now I see "nice" everywhere. I want to read about it and learn about it and tell people about it. Everywhere I walk I see a spot for a NICE Note. This could easily take over my life. :-) I mean that in a great way, of course!
I'm so thankful to have people visit my little corner of the web, so I want to make sure I don't bore anyone!
Definitely the more the merrier! I too read sporadically so I may miss a day and end up reading multiple posts from one blog anyway, so I probably wouldn't notice if you did more than one in a day. I love all your posts regardless, so I say go for it!
I'm just commenting all over the place here today.
Do what's comfortable for you. What feels right for you. It is NICE that you ask your readers. It never hurts and of course you need to connect with us but in the end, whatever you choose is fine.
I'll be here one or ten posts a day. I may drag behind but I'll still come back to check in.
xo
