*PERSONAL NOTE: I feel this step is über-important. If there is a woman pushing a stroller, trying to get through a door, people should be rushing to her aid. If there is someone that can't reach something on a supermarket shelf and you can, help that person out. I can recall many a time where I was in a similar situation wishing for (and sometimes receiving) some sort of assistance. It's the nice thing to do!

This is such a great concept, Mel! And as a woman who sometimes pushes a double stroller, I can't tell you how infrequent (and so appreciated!) help with doors can be. I've had doors closing on my boys and people just walk around me.
One time this teenaged girl helped my friend and I with our strollers, and I told her thank you--and that one day when she had kids she would remember us and realize what a nice thing she did.
the stroller thing is the most hillarious to me. nobody realizes how hard it is to get through a door!!!!! it's insane.
it seems to be for me a great idea to follow all this tips and how to be nice, I didnt know how important they are in order to be friendly.
